B&C Engineering is a family operated business in Southern California, founded in 2009 by owner Bart Hamlett. Bart has more than 22 years of experience in the Industrial Waste Treatment System Industry. This experience includes 15 years of Waste Treatment System management for technicians who operate water treatment systems, and is a specialist in industrial wastewater pretreatment. Bart has also spent this time gaining knowledge and experience in Health Safety and Environmental compliance with local agencies, trained over 800 companies and counting on Wastewater Treatment System Operations and Troubleshooting for noncompliance issues. With extensive experience in installation, start-up, operating, and maintenance of industrial pretreatment systems in California, Bart cares deeply for each of his clients operations and growth, and therefore is also the lead instructor of a comprehensive industrial wastewater pretreatment operator training course for your business needs.

Bart Hamlett
I am Bart Hamlett, owner and founder of B & C Engineering and Wastewater LLC established in 2009. I have 20 years of experience in the Industrial Wastewater field and am passionate about what I do.
As your consultant, I personally meet with you to discuss your company’s needs whether it’s Wastewater Treatment process, wastewater audits, HAZMAT training for metal finishers, compliance issues, or simply pH calibrations; you can depend on me to assist you. I’ve also had the privilege to have worked in conjunction with the Orange County Sanitation District for over 8 years.
I have been married to my wife Carmen for 30 years and we have five amazing grown children and three beautiful grandchildren. An ideal weekend consists of smoking ribs and watching the Green Bay Packers play. Go Packers!

Marissa Almquist
Marissa Almquist is a staff Scientist at B&C Engineering and Wastewater LLC. She specializes in submitting AQMD permits, Editing SWPPP Permits, Biannual Reports, SB-14 Permits, SMR Reports, OCSD permits, Evq updates or renewals, Surcharge Reports, AutoCAD drawings, and CERS submittals. What makes Marissa so efficient for the job is she has had more than four years of experience in the wastewater Industry and at such a young age began her career here at B&C Engineering.
Marissa is married and raising two little ones, on her days off one of her favorite things to do is spend time with the family and enjoy nature with them. She also enjoys playing multiple instruments, taking photos, and having dance parties with her two babies.
